The Volvo FM Electric 8×4 rigid truck can travel up to 50 km and pump 50 m³ of concrete on a single charge. Its four batteries support fast charging during operation. With a 42-meter reach, the pump can access confined worksites. Developed with Putzmeister, the truck will soon join Swedish construction firm Swerock’s fleet. It expands Volvo’s range of electric construction vehicles and offers zero emissions and quiet operation compared to traditional diesel pump trucks.
